ok, so i was running through what we have put together, and everything is feeling a little disorganzied...
What we need to do:
Decorating committee-> come up with an overall plan of how the set up will be, what type o f tables we will be using (remember we want 8 to a table), where are the table cloths coming from, centre pieces, picture wall, lights (my family has lots of icicle lights, the white ones, we can use), candles, trees, bench, etc
Entertainment committee-> definite scheadule of what games are being done, do we want to use the reindeer game that mrs karsgaards husbadn will do for us (guess who is who when they are morphed to look like a reindeer), definite scheadule, etc
Advertisement/ music committee-> music needs to compiled, that means for christmas songs and dancing music at the end (im thinking we may need some slog songs... maybe?), it is called the Snow Ball, so all the posters need to be labeled that way with $14 and two non perishable items bolded that people know they HAVE to have that stuff... etc
Chaperons: Mr Kennedy, Ms Ng (would you like to bring jamie?), Mrs Karsgaard (mr k too?), anyone else.. mrs stensaker?
Basically we need to have a deifinite scheadule written up too
Thursday:
lunch: decorating tree contest (if we don't get fake trees then we'll do the real ones, and the contest will be in the gym.. judges will be picked ASAP
last block: all people who don't have classes will be called to the gym to set up and start decorating
lights need to be set up, tables, candles, trees from the contest, table clothes, picture wall, "snow", etc
We need to be finished setting up by 4:30 @ the latest, so people have time to get home and get ready, because they need to be back by 5:30ish.
6:00: Doors open, tickets need to be collected, and people can seat themselves. There will be music on, etc.
once everyone is there, then we can do one or two games opening the night up
Dinner is served, and people will go in order, etc
6:30 to 7:30= dinner being eaten
during this time maybe paul can entertain every once in a while?
7:30: Then it will be the ginger bread men decorating thing... every one will get one ginger bread man and they have to decorate it. each table will pick their best one to represent them, and then they will be judged at the front
8:00: more games.. whatever entertainment has planned... best dressed couple, individual, etc...
9:00ish: dancing
10: finished.. and clean up begins... the catering company will clean up all the plates, cups, cutlery, etc when they leave.
alright, so please check to see when you are selling tickets in the hallway.. im completing them this weekend, so for right now just jeeop track on a sheet and we'll get a box for money
